Missions

The SFBC Missions Team is a group of people who come together with the common goal of sharing Jesus Christ with others and helping our community. We have traveled to New York City and Columbia, Tennessee. However, through these amazing experiences God opened our eyes to the many needs right here in our own community. Our 2008 and 2009 missions “trips” have been right here in Unicoi County.

This year we did Back Yard Bible Clubs at Whispering Meadows, Erwin Housing Authority, and Four Seasons. The kids there had the opportunity to learn about the Ten Commandments, do crafts, music, and have snacks. Back Yard Bible Clubs continued once a week throughout the summer!

We will also did outreach, inreach, yard work, and small construction projects to help those in our community who are in need.
